Friendship for Grown-Ups: What I Missed and Learned Along the Way by Lisa Whelchel. This book is a great in-depth look at friendships. Read this if you want to go to the next level with your friends. It has great discussion section at the end.. and would be good for either a women's group or a women's club. This is Christian focused and Lisa Whelchel is fairly honest with her own attitudes and ideas about friendships and getting close or not to a friend...
I have learned a lot and this book allowed me to take a self analysis on friendships. I liked this book and would consider giving this to a relative or a safe friend of mine.
I received this copy from Booksneeze for an honest review and I am so glad I received this copy.

Gigi's Hugest Announcement
I got this wonderful DVD in mail from Thomas Nelson: Gigi's Hugest Announcement by Sheila Walsh. Gigi, God's Little Princess, is a happy child who loves to laugh sing and knows God loves her. When I first put in the video my child started to smile and noticed the clouds in the video and started to dance to the opening song. The story Gigi's Hugest Announcement, has wonderful stories which viewers can learn life's lessons through biblical scripture. At the end of each story a biblical quote is discussed as the moral of the story. The narrator summarizes the story with pictures from the book, which is a nice touch. The bonus/extras section is very interactive - including sing-along songs and trivia game. A wonderful video for parents and children to watch together as a family.
